Join Einat Dan and Juliette den Ouden as they fuse their passion, expertise, and vision in “Editorial Maka-up Masterclass: "Twin flames" a transformative two-day experience in at JDO Academy Amsterdam.

This immersive training goes beyond technique. You’ll learn the secrets behind their signature looks, how they conceptualize and produce high-end shoots, and how they build lasting client and team relationships in a fast-moving industry.

Whether you dream of working backstage at Fashion Week, producing bold campaigns, or elevating your creative direction this masterclass will sharpen your skills, expand your mindset, and push you beyond the expected.

WHAT TO EXPECT

DAY 1 – DEMONSTRATIONS & CREATIVE DIRECTION

Einat and Juliette will each present a live demo and one-hour theory session, sharing their process for creating high-fashion editorial looks.

You’ll learn how to build a concept, select products, develop a moodboard, and collaborate with a team on set.

We will introduce the artistic theme and guide you in planning your own shoot for

DAY 2 – PHOTOSHOOT DAY

Each participant will work with a professional model and fashion photographer.

You’ll receive direct guidance from both Einat and Juliette as you bring your concept to life.

One final, fully retouched image will be delivered for your portfolio.

THEME: 

“THE POWER OF THE ELEMENTS”

Each student will choose one of the four elements Earth, Water, Fire, or Air as inspiration for their editorial makeup look.

This abstract yet focused theme allows for total creativity while maintaining a clear visual direction.

STYLING & FASHION DIRECTION

Joining the team is Natalia Müller, a top-level fashion stylist, who will style the models of Einat and Juliette with twin-inspired high fashion looks, enhancing the “Twin Flames” concept.

Students will also learn how to collaborate with a stylist and creative team, understanding the dynamics of building a full visual story not just makeup.

While the main focus is makeup, you are welcome to bring accessories, jewelry, or fashion tops to elevate your own shoot. The final outcome is intended to be editorial-quality, bold, and professional.
